OS & Y Gate Valve
TYCO Resilient-Seated Gate Valves are used in Fire Protection Systems for on/off operation. End connection configurations including Flange x Flange, Flange x Groove, and Groove x Groove are available. All of the end connection configurations have tapping bosses. The ductile Iron body weighs approximately 50% less than conventional cast iron valves, which allows easier handling on site and reduced shipping costs. The fully encapsulated EPDM ductile iron Wedge ensures bubble-tight sealing. Valve components are either inherently corrosion-resistant or protected with fusion-bonded epoxy resin coating for a long, dependable service life and enhanced UV protection in exposed installations.
This valve is one of the lightest, most durable gate valves on the market today. Its design features and material selection criteria fulfill the need for a dependable, long life and easy to operate gate valve.

Butterfly Valve
The TYCO Model BFV-300 Wafer Style Butterfly Valves are indicating type valves designed for use in fire protection systems where a visual indication of open valve condition is required. They are used, for example, as system, sectional and pump water control valves, and are suitable for installation between ANSI Class 125/150 flanges as well as PN10/16 flanges without the need for flange gaskets. For applications requiring supervision of the open state of the valve, the Gear Operators for the Model BFV-300 Butterfly Valves feature two sets of factory installed internal switches each having SPDT contacts. The supervisory switches transfer their electrical contacts when there is movement from the open or closed disc position during the first two revolutions of the handwheel.

Butterfly Valve Grooved End
The TYCO Models BFV-300 and BFV300C Grooved End Butterfly Valves are indicating type valves designed for use in fire protection systems where a visual indication of open or closed valve condition is required. They are used, for example, as system, sectional and pump water control valves. They have grooved inlet and outlet connections that are suitable for use with grooved end pipe couplings listed or approved for fire protection systems. For applications requiring supervision of the open or closed state of the valve, the Gear Operators for the Model BFV-300/BFV-300C Butterfly Valves feature two sets of factory installed internal switches each having SPDT contacts, see Figure 3. The supervisory switches transfer their electrical contacts when there is movement from the open or closed disc position during the first two revolutions of the handwheel.

Swing Check Valve
The TYCO Model CV-1F Grooved End Swing Check Valves are compact and rugged swing-type units that allow water flow in one direction and prevent flow in the opposite direction. A resilient elastomer seal facing on the spring-loaded clapper ensures a leaktight seal and non-sticking operation. The Model CV-1F Check Valves are designed to minimize water hammer caused by flow reversal. The Model CV-1F Grooved End Swing Check Valves are furnished with grooved ends and can be installed using GRINNELL Grooved Couplings or GRINNELL Figure 71 Flange Adapters. The Model CV-1F Check Valves have been designed with a removable cover for ease of field maintenance. These valves can be installed horizontally (with cover in the upward position)

Deluge Valve – Electric
The TYCO DV-5a Automatic Water Control Valve Deluge Electric Actuation are diaphragm type valves that can be used in deluge fire protection systems. When properly trimmed, the double seat design of the DV-5a Valve also provides actuation of fire alarms upon system operation. The diaphragm style design of the DV-5a Valve allows external resetting, providing for easy resetting of a deluge system without having to open a valve handhole cover to manually reposition a clapper and/or latch mechanism. Simply re-pressurizing the diaphragm chamber resets the valve. The DV-5a features internal and external coating of the valve to provide corrosion resistance. The external corrosion resistance of the epoxy coating permits the use of the DV-5a in corrosive atmospheres associated with many types of industrial processing plants and outdoor installations.

Alarm Check Valve
The TYCO Model AV-1-300 Alarm Check Valves are divided seat ring, rubber-faced clapper, waterflow alarm check valves that are intended for use in wet pipe (automatic sprinkler) fire protection systems. They may be installed vertically or horizontally*, and they are designed to automatically actuate electric and/or hydraulic alarms when there is a steady flow of water into the system that is equivalent to the discharge rate of one or more sprinklers. A separately ordered TYCO Model RC-1 Retard Chamber is required for installations subject to variable pressures. It is used to help prevent false alarms associated with pressure variations in public water supplies. Pressure Reducing valve
The TYCO Model PRV-1A Pressure Reducing Valves, 2 in. to 8 in. (DN50 to DN200), are factory assembled and fully trimmed valve arrangements for pressure control. They are used on water filled pipes, where it is necessary to reduce a higher inlet pressure to a lower delivery pressure under static and/or residual flowing conditions. The Model PRV-1A Valve is intended to automatically maintain the outlet “set pressure” (static and residual) within a close range, regardless of fluctuations in the higher pressure inlet line or varying flow rates. The Model PRV-1A Valve is provided with a factory outlet “set pressure” of approximately 125 psi (8,6 bar); however, it may be field set to a nominal outlet “set pressure” of 90 to 175 psi (6,2 to 12,1 bar).
